A Little Bit About Me |
||
Renee Landress: I have been swimming for 10 years. I started off doing summer league swim team in Snellville, Georgia and then swam for Grayson High School for all of my high school career. When I was 15 I decided to become a lifeguard because I loved being in and around water and to this day I've always been surrounded by water. Shortly after becoming a lifeguard I got my American Red Cross certification as a Water Safety Instructor (WSI). Following my WSI certification I received my Lifeguard Training Instructor (LGI) certification from the American Red Cross. I began to teach swim lessons at Bethesda Park Aquatic Center located in Lawrenceville Georgia for two years and then moved to West Gwinnett Park Aquatic Center located in Norcross Georgia. I have taught levels starting at Parent Assist classes all the way to Adult classes and everything in between. I have taught small classes consisting of four to six children as well as private one-on-one lessons. Teaching others to swim is not merely a job for me, it is me passing on my love for water. |
